Just try going to a church when you've had something happen! I'm on a public computer, btw-can't afford the Net, or even a computer! Had an Emergency, and still can't get any church to help. Perhaps Christianity would be more attractive if Churches really practiced what they preached..... I can also understand why he would allow us to make mistakes. When my children were young I tried to protect them. I taught them to show respect to me. I told them what was good and what was bad. And when I was around they always did what I wanted them to. The thing is, the times when I was the most proud was when they did it because they chose to do it. When I could tell they showed me respect because they respected me and not because they feared my reaction if they didn't. But to ever see that, they had to have the ability to not show me respect. (which everyone has) As a husband I can see why he would want us to have free will to love him. This is fairly obvious to me. As a father I can understand why God would give man free will to sin.
